I have really been enjoying these sermons. The German is fairly easy going, very rarely does one need to look up a word in the dictionary. For those wanting some practice with theological German,you don't get much better. The sermons are also rich with insights to the text one might incorporate into his own sermons. They make great reading for a lazy Sunday afternoon. Though I tend to read for the upcoming Sunday rather than the Sunday I am in. Somehow, in this way one is able to combine lazy with sermon prep.There are a few annoyances. This book does not cover the whole year as the title would lead you to believe. It picks up the first Sunday of Trinity and leads you through to the last Sunday in Epiphany. Lent and Easter are left out. The table of contents doesn't let you know what passage the sermon will be on. Neither are you told when, or where Luther delivered the sermon, or where the sermons came from. But then the book is free, and it is Luther! So one really can't complain too much. Really, a free book like this makes the price of the kindle worth it.
